I worked with a local author on this project. She wrote the story about her father to give to her kids, while I illustrated, designed, and worked with the University of Minnesota Bindery Department to design a custom binding for the cover. We did a limited edition run of 10 copies.
This project was a really fun collaboration and gave me a great opportunity to combine 2 things I love: illustration and design. Projects that connect disciplines and mediums give me a chance to bring out my creativity and problem solving skills.
